This is a new project initiated in autumn 2009, when I moved to Lancaster for conducting a doctoral research in the area of visual sociology:

All photographs are naturally occurring social artefacts from Lancaster, Morecambe, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and many other places in North-West England.

The photographs don't try to beautify, or capture the odd, or even convince you that there is such a thing called 'North-West'... What you actually might find here is how things feel like.
